Use this color by number activity to engage your students! This activity includes a comprehensible reading in Spanish about the event La Tomatina.
Students will use the comprehensible reading to answer 12 comprehension questions. Each question has correct answer with a specific color. Students will use the color with the correct answer to complete the color by number. Students should complete the color by number after answering all questions.

La Tomatina is one of my favorite cultural activities to discuss. Students do not equate coloring with “learning” even though the answers dictate the colors. Whatever they want to believe. It is great with the differentiation, as questions can be a combination of Spanish- Spanish, English-English or Spanish-English.
