Spanish Valentine’s Day Color By Number
You love no prep resources, right? Engage students with 3 fun activities for Valentine’s Day! There are two color by number activities and one bonus activity. One color by number is for reading comprehension. Students will read a passage and answer comprehension questions. The other color by number is image identification from vocabulary related to Valentine’s Day. The bonus activity is a labeling activity for Valentine’s Day vocabulary.
Reading Passages and Comprehension Questions
Reading in the target language is always great for students! They get to acquire so much more vocabulary through reading. La cita especial, La primera cita, Ya son novios are reading passages with the romance theme. Students will review or be introduced to high frequency verbs in Spanish and be exposed to vocabulary relating to Valentine’s Day. Each reading has comprehension questions for students.
Spanish Valentine’s Day Acrostic Poem
This no prep activity pushes students to use their creativity to create an acrostic poem. It’s the perfect for cross curricular for English class. Students will create an acrostic poem for a friend, boyfriend/girlfriend, or parent.
This activity has two parts. Students will create an acrostic poem and write a short phrase(s) about why they are writing the poem.
