digital self-checking task cards for spanish class

I’ve grown to love creating digital resources. (Something I definitely avoided before!) I love resources that make class run more smoothly and planning easier. I’m excited to share more about digital self-checking task cards with you! You’re going to love them!

Task cards have always been been a go-to activity. They allow for student collaboration, independent practice, and a more student-centered learning environment.

Task cards are definitely great but keeping up with the task card handouts and grading them can be a daunting task. Students also have to wait for feedback from you. That could be a while if you have larger class sizes. (Honestly, who doesn’t at this point?!)

These task cards solve those two issues, two of the biggest issues teachers face.

1. Grading

You don’t have to grade them! No more grading task cards. The Google Sheets activity is coded so that students answers are check as they enter.

2. Timely feedback

As students enter answers, they will know whether they are right or wrong. Incorrect answers will turn the box red and correct answers will turn the box green.

No more, “Profe, ¿es correcto?”, during activities. Students can work through the activity and get the immediate feedback they want and need to feel confident about what they’re learning.

# of Questions

The ways you can incorporate the task cards into lessons are limitless. Task cards activities are usually higher in number of questions. I’ve created more variety with 5 question, 8 question, 12 question, 16 question, and 20 question task card activities. With different amounts of questions, you will be able to fit these activities into different parts of your lesson more easily. Check out some of the great uses for digital self-checking task cards below.
